At MBC, we believe in nurturing the “whole dancer”, mind, body and spirit. To this aim, we regularly partner with local Physical Therapists, Nutritionists and Certified Pilates experts, among others, to provide our students with a broad and well-rounded curriculum. MBC also has a unique mentoring program designed to empower young and more seasoned dancers alike.
Amy Stoddart, Owner of Bridger Pilates, works with MBC Company and Academy Students on specialized Stott Pilates techniques.
Physical Therapists, Meagan Binenstock and Kesley Wadsworth from Advanced Performance and Rehabilitation, work with our Elementary through Advanced students on special injury prevent techniques.
MBC provides specialized pointe shoe fittings for all Academy students approved to go en pointe. Additionally, students participate in pointe shoe clinics where they learn about the shoes themselves, how to sew and maintain their shoes, how to protect their toes and feet while dancing en pointe, and more.
Amy Andrews, from RIPE, instructs our students on healthy and joyful eating.
