Moria Glaus immediately fell in love the beautiful art form of ballet at age five and has been dancing ever since. In addition to ballet, she has extensive experience in modern, contemporary ballet, jazz, and international folk dancing.
Having been homeschooled all twelve years, Ms. Glaus was involved in a homeschooling choir from age six through high school. She performed many operettas, including Hansel and Gretel, playing the role of Gretel; Brundibar; and Babes in Toyland. Her involvement in both choir and dance as a child instilled a strong love of the performing arts.
Ms. Glaus has attended Montana Ballet Company’s Dancing Under the Big Sky summer intensive several times; Dmitri Kulev Classical Ballet Academy’s summer dance intensive in Orange County, CA, in 2013 and 2014; Twin Sky Dance Intensive in Big Sky, Montana, in 2015 and 2016; and several dance workshops and master classes around the state, such as Montana Dance Arts Association’s fall and spring workshops.
She has participated in many Montana Ballet Company Nutcrackers, with roles that include Clara, Dewdrop in Waltz of the Flowers, Lead Chinese, Mirliton, Soldier Doll, and Columbine Doll. Ms. Glaus has also performed in Montana Ballet Company’s Great Ballet Classics; in Yellowstone Ballet Company’s Pinocchio; and in several other spring and summer productions put on by the Dance Center and Montana Ballet Company.
Her ultimate goal as a performing artist is to share with each audience member her passion and radiant love for dance.
