Lyrica Woodruff


Lyrica is from Pacific Palisades, California and began her ballet training at the age of 5 at the Westside Academy of Ballet, under the mentorship of Yvonne Mounsey. She started acting at the same time and spent two years on the Television Series, Boston Public. She has guest starred on many shows, including Private Practice, Bunheads and Switched at Birth. At 14, Lyrica was invited to train year-round at the School of American Ballet in New York City. Upon graduating, she received the prestigious Mae L. Wien Award for “Outstanding Promise.” Lyrica was featured in Susan Stroman’s musical, Little Dancer, which premiered at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. where she also understudied the title role. Lyrica then played the featured role of Juliet in Christopher Gattelli’s musical, In Your Arms. She went on to play Susan the Silent in the Off-Broadway revival of Finian’s Rainbow, for which she won the Chita Rivera Award (formerly known as the Astaire Award) for Outstanding Female Dancer in an Off-Broadway Show. Lyrica was Odette and Olga Romanov in Anastasia on Broadway for multiple years. She was then featured as Mary in Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic NBC Christmas special, which went on to receive multiple television awards. Lyrica has been in music videos for many major artists, including Ben Folds and Laufey. She was most recently cast in the upcoming Amazon Prime TV series, Etoilé.
