Montana Ballet Company’s Annual Dancing Under the Big Sky (DUBS) two-week Summer Dance Intensive is an enriching educational program featuring exceptional guest teachers from across the country and a full curriculum.
DUBS 2022 will be held Monday, July 25 through Saturday, August 6. Classes will run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., with short breaks and a lunch break each day.
Our Dancing Under the Big Sky Intensive, with a full and thoughtful curriculum, exemplifies our belief in nurturing the “whole dancer,” mind, body, and spirit.

Mini-DUBS
(Dancing Under the Big Sky)
(Dancing Under the Big Sky)
A “mini” version of our Dancing Under the Big Sky (DUBS) summer intensive for younger dancers. Mini-DUBS will be held Monday, July 25 through Saturday, August 6, 2022. Classes run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. – 2:45 p.m., with short breaks and lunch break each day. This two-week dance intensive aims to provide dancers Ages 8+ and/or determined ready to commit to an intensive, with the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a variety of dance forms, concentrating on technique, artistry, musicality and expression. Outstanding guest faculty will serve to inspire dancers to achieve high standards through this exposure. Intensive schedules will include repertory rehearsals with guest artists and Montana Ballet staff. Our Dancing Under the Big Sky Intensive, with a full and thoughtful curriculum, exemplifies our belief in nurturing the “whole dancer,” mind, body, and spirit.

Our Open Classes are a wonderful opportunity for students to continue their classical ballet training during the summer months. All of our summer programs are open to continuing Academy students and new students alike.
