Whole Dancer Series

At MBC, we believe in nurturing the “whole dancer”, mind, body and spirit. To this aim, we regularly partner with local Physical Therapists, Nutritionists and Certified Pilates experts, among others, to provide our students with a broad and well-rounded curriculum. MBC also has a unique mentoring program designed to empower young and more seasoned dancers alike.

Amy Stoddart, Owner of Bridger Pilates, works with MBC Company and Academy Students on specialized Stott Pilates techniques.

Pointe Shoe Fittings

MBC provides specialized pointe shoe fittings for all Academy students approved to go on pointe. Additionally, students participate in pointe shoe clinics where they learn about the shoes themselves, how to sew and maintain their shoes, how to protect their toes and feet while dancing on pointe, and more.

Students in our Upper Division often serve as Teaching Assistants in our Academy, learning the craft of teaching under Faculty guidance.
Progressing Ballet Technique
Our students are provided classes in Progressing Ballet Technique, an innovative program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best in classical ballet.
