biography
Noelle Brassfield is a faculty member of the Academy. Ms. Brassfield started her dance training at the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance under the direction of Sharon McCormick. There she danced soloist roles in The Nutcracker, Paquita, and Coppelia.
She furthered her training at Westside School of Ballet in Santa Monica, CA with Yvonne Mounsey, former New York City Ballet Principal, and at The Kirov Academy in Washington D.C. with Alla Sizova.
Ms. Brassfield went on to train at the Colorado Ballet with Marat Daukayev, former Kirov Ballet Principal and Colorado Ballet Master Teacher. There she danced with the company in various productions such as Sleeping Beauty, Carmina Burana, A Midsummer’s Nights Dream, and The Nutcracker.
Ms. Brassfield has taught ballet at several schools throughout her career. She also became the Choreography Coach at the Ice Castle International Training Center where she choreographed and taught ballet to National and Olympic level figure skaters.
Ms. Brassfield is excited to be part of the Montana Ballet Company this Season.
